We abide by a grassroots philosophy, which means we work with our communities on the ground in order to influence policymakers, and not the other way around.

Our structure as a network:
The individual actor always has greater power when working with a group of like-minded individuals. Likewise, our NGO is staunchly non-political, non-religious and non-sectarian. We aim to bring the Lebanese communities at home and abroad together into an effective "global village" under the umbrella of action and the actual power of civil society.

We are able to act as a Lebanon-based NGO and an international organization because of our structure.

We work through an international network where each individual cell has equal authority; decentralizing our power means that we are moving away from the danger of becoming an institution where bureaucracy may eventually render us inefficient. Anyone who wishes to can become a part of our NGO, and everyone has equal say in its workings and in the types of projects that we may undertake. Our constituency and our beneficiaries are one and the same; the only difference is that resources are allocated according to need.
