September 30, 2006

In spite of all what happened in Lebanon during the few past months, Edward kept on rolling for glory.

On Saturday, the 9th of September, Edward ranked first in the Rotterdam Marathon, The Netherlands. Just after the Rotterdam Marathon, Edward headed to Switzerland for the world Champion Ship, where he participated in two races, on the 15th and the 16th of September.

“I had health problems… and when I arrived in the morning I found out that my name wasn’t on the racers list” though all the problems that faced Edward that day, he joined the race and positioned 6th with 22 seconds difference between him and the first positioned hand biker.
On the other hand, Edward ranked 5th on the September 17th race day, competing with racers who advance him of ten years or more in the racing field.

Edward now is looking forward for participating in the Asiatic Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in December this year. And a big training program is awaiting him next year in preparation for the Paralympics in Beijing 2008.
