Act for Lebanon at Beirut International MarathonNovember 12, 2005
More than 40,000 visitors visited the Beirut International Marathon Village and over 17,000 runners from 71 countries participated, for the third year in a row, on November 13, 2005 in the Beirut International Marathon!
A unique experience that blended people together under one unified theme: UNITED WE RUN.
Act for Lebanon was present in the BIM Village for a period of five days, disseminating its mission and objectives. The stand became a socialization platform inviting the visitors to fill their own books with their own ACTS FOR LEBANON.
In the center of this space two hives of bees were displayed to illustrate the message:
WHY BEES? BEES DON’T TALK, BEES ACT!
Fadi Nahas, Chairman and founding member of Act for Lebanon said on the Marathon Day that “this event will help put Lebanon back on the global map and bring people together”.
